Count your Blessings

Last year, when we were living in Dallas, Josh had a job offer from a different company. We prayed about what to do and he felt he should not take it. Then we prayed about moving back to KC. After many prayers, we felt we should and so he took the steps to get us back to KC and still work for the same company. Wow are we glad we followed those answers! Yesterday, Josh's company called an All- Company Mandatory meeting and they CLOSED the Dallas office!! What!? 120 people in Dallas out of a job! And the company that he refused the offer from in Dallas, Laid off 150 employees! Talk about counting our blessings! Also, Josh has been unhappy with the job he is doing, not the company necessarily. So Today, 75 jobs will be available in the KC office to pick up slack from closing the Dallas office. So Josh could possibly get a promotion out of the deal. Holy cow am I glad we have been praying and then listening to the answers! What a Blessing!

Totally awesome. Isn't it wonderful to have that direction in our lives?? So amazing, and so scary to live life without it!!

I'm so glad you listened to the spirit. And I'm obviously glad you're here in KC--even though I only get to see you at the occasional baby shower :) Good luck with your preschool! We totally want on the list (in 2 years).
